Arun: thank you for sharing this brother. My friend on FB alert me to this news as well and just reading about it give me chill. I have a 10 year old daughter and I would not know what to do if that happen to her. There is a movie called "A TIME TO KILL". That is probably the closest thing to my mind if anything like that happen to my baby. THis is the VERY reason why I have her learn jiu jitsu, its not for the pride of the medals or belts. Its for this exact situation. But I don't want to tell her this as she is so young and pure. I just cover this up by saying its for sports and her health. THat is why I teach her the Triangle. She can get the triangle from any position. Its a sad story indeed and I hope those guys gets what is coming to them Keep up the great work in helping those learn how to defend themselves, you my friend have inspired me very much that I will do the same over here....Bruce

A couple things come to mind;
eye gouges, biting the cheeks and throat, raking the face (leaves tissue under the nails for DNA) small joint manipulation with gusto, neck breaks from guard. Grabbing the lower jaw with both hands (knuckles in the mouth) and violently jerking and twisting Hopefully they dont have to deal with multiple attackers. Brutality and sudden forceful application of technique is often not emphasized out of fear that it will make people uncomfortable.
