Marcelo showing Twister defense

I have been on MGinaction for a while now, just fell upon this video the other day, really cool to see Marcelo teaching a defense to the Truck/Twister

He's no dummy. Marcelo is the man for sure.

MG is the man.

But I see a lot of defenses that are good...but none of them address when someone has a grip on the toes of the free leg. Coach Zog teaches to grab the toes. And it's insanely good control. I mean, I can pretty much control a leg one handed with barely any strength involved so imagine one hand on the shin and the other cupping the toes. That leg is mine. I'd like to see someone come up with a defense for that kind of control.

I've done something similar, but it definitely failed epicly, and its because my hand wasnt tight to my leg. It's awesome to see Marcelo repping stuff like this.

Let us review the video case of Garcia v Bravo and see if this is how Marcelo escaped Eddie's twister.

marcelo inserted foot into 5 hole and broke the leg lock in the vid.
