I found my first match this past weekend at Grappling X, it was my first BJJ match ever. I was exhausted and gave in to a straight arm lock from half guard. Learned alot from this tournament. Enjoy, and all advice is welcome. This was after 1 session at the soon to be 10th Planet San Jac HB.

Thanks bro, and hell yea chauncey is the sickness, I could hear him clear as day instructing me even with the bad music and the guy on the mic. hehe I talked with chauncey afterwards and figured out my grip was wrong on the guillotine thats what gave him space but I give it the guy I went against he was strong and in great shape. I went and weighed in at 177 so I missed the 175ers and had to go with the 185ers as well which sucked after dieting down from 191 in about 2 weeks. My overall experience was good though, im ready to get back to the HB and learn.
