    ive heard so many mixed reviews on crossfit. some saying its terrible for your body and some saying its the greatest thing ever, of course im willing to give it a try. so ill keep you guys posted (: As for 10th Allentown i would love to head over there ASAP.. btw i tweeted you guys, Allentown

    Gabby.... crossfit the way to go.....every fighter out of Rochester is in our crossfit program. If they dont go to the practice they dont fight.

    Other than normal running I haven't done any strength and conditioning. I'm now preparing for tough mudder so I've been running alot more and been hitting the weights. I haven't lifted weights since high school. When going against stronger guys I usually don't do too well because I'm not strong and I focus on catching them when they make a mistake. Now that I'm lifting I hope I see a difference.

    Jeremy you should not be lifting....go to crossfit...lifting will only had to a chance of injury, just ask bryan alves

    Funtional fitness is what you should be focusing on over static strength training. You use your body as a whole, you should be training it that way as well.

    Isn't the crossfit at 5? I don't get out til 5 so I would miss half the class.

    I do tabata's (interval training) with a variety of exercises as part of my S&C. :-)

    I don't believe someone should "can" all athletes and say they must do crossfit and lifting creates injuries. I know plenty of athletes that benefited greatly from weight lifting and crossfit type exercises were not what they needed.

    Odd to tell someone not to lift weights.
