I agree, this is tough to say just one, and each person for me, inspires me to improve a different part of my game.
I love watching Marcello compete, he gets me excited to compete and win against larger opponents. He also gets me excited to work back control, butterfly guard, My NS choke was all inspired by him, as is my desire to work top game.
I saw this Telles turtle guard in a comp video a few years ago, and it inspired me to push my turtle from defense to more offensive.
"street" Ho's comp vids inspire me to keep teaching, competing and push my game ever as my age approches "old man" status.
As for Eddie, not so much his comp prowess, but his MTS really keeps me engaged and loving the fact that I can spread my knowledge to others in a very high level manner. Eddie also inspired me early on to make the HG lockdown my go-to game and the twister/truck makes me smile everyday. Eddies natural style fits my natural style better than almost anybody else.
Every single "future of 10th planet" comp video ispires me to be a good role model and pass my knowledge on to the younger generation.
Almost forgot, Ryron Gracie, his keep it playful, relaxed, wear the guy down, start from bad positions, losing ain't that bad style is what helps keep ego in check and be able to go to work the next day.
