    fuck that shit, cauliflower ear is gross as hell and i don't want my ears looking like that. as soon as my ears started hurting and puffing up, i got myself some head gear. it took a few days to get used to them, but now i like them. my ears never bother me.

    Nothing wrong with ear guards. Eddie wears them a lot. Just do your training partners a favor, as has been suggested, and find ones with soft exteriors...the big plastic ones are no fun for others.
    It can be uncomfortable and annoying but you don't have to wear them all the time and cauli ear isn't very fun.
