Yes greg that is exact what Master Eddie said. That night he address this issue and the class work on their half and half and dog fight and prison guard. The more I get into this system, the more I realize I am only seeing the tip of the iceberg. Keep on watching, the next tournament is NAGA Houston next month and you will see all this in Cora's game. Always improving for every tournament.

How cool would it be to see a 23 year old Cora in ADCC? That would be nuts!

That is if she doesn't get bored with it and quit like so many young prodigies do :/

If Cora can somehow stick it out and continue to compete and get her black belt, she will no doubt be known worldwide as "that chick with the insane rubber guard"

    Master Eddie,
Cora and I make a pack. Before any boyfriends or husband, she promise me that she will be a Black Belt World Champion with a college degree.. The picture you just painted in my head is an awesome one. I will try my best to stir her in the right direction. But it isn't hard as she love this sport. So far we only let her compete once a month. I think competing once a month is good enough, as there are many tournaments. I can't really afford to do more than that. And it also allow her enough time to work on new things so that she can improve with every tournament. Its an honor to know that you see this much potential in her.... Bruce

I made a similar deal with my parents over girls, but once hormones hit...all deals are off lol

You should probably think of other ways to keep her motivated than pacts with ten year olds, forcing someone isn't the greatest path.

Jiu Jitsu is her hormone replacement.... Man I'm just BSing... cus I know down deep, when she become a teenager, it will be my worst nightmare coming true. Any parent with a teenager daughter out there? THen yall know what I'm talking about. HOPEFULLY her love for the game remain strong, that no matter what happen later on, she will stay focus. She has older cousins who mess their lives up with boyfriend/ girlfriend drama. THat is another reason why we found Jiu Jitsu and put it in her life.
