I know someone who is in the RCMP, a couple of years ago when those guys climbed up parliament they were paying regular officers to work overtime and sit in there cars and watch the building.

He described it as $1500 a night for watching movies in a squad car.

My guess is that this has nothing to do with pot and the RCMP just wants to go snowboarding and get paid for it.
