I wanted to give you a little more detail on this episode. This is a must listen to for all business owners, coaches and anyone that dreams of having their own school someday.
With Tony we cover ethical online instruction and marketing, the pros and cons of business consultants, the instructional DVD market, how to avoid syndicate/affiliate marketing tactics and more.
With Tom we cover ethics of running a business in martial arts and how to balance budo with business, the follies involved with working from desperation, what competitors looking to open a school should be thinking of, why it's important to never stop learning as a coach/business owner and much much more.
With Nic we cover the ins and outs of being part of an association, how he has structured Jiu Jitsu Brotherhood to be more than just concerned with finances and why self development will lead to good business. Nic also tells us about going on a worldwide seminar tour where a portion of his profits will go to saving indigenous cultures in the amazon.
