If you have windows paint, this is an easy way to resize your pic:

    open it.
    CTRL+W opens the "Skew" window.

Choose a percentage. If you want if half size, enter 50 and 50, or if you want it twice as big, enter 200 and 200.
    Hit enter.

ALT+F+A = "Save file as", pick a name and save it.

The only problem with windows is that if it's a small little picture and you try to blow it up, your resolution will be all fucked up.
In this case, you can use MS Powerpoint. Paste the image on a slide, then drag it out to the biggest you can get without losing too much detail, then take a screen capture (CTRL+PrtSrn) which will take a photo of everything on your entire screen.

Open paint and paste it in there (CTRL+V) and then just crop out the image you want from the rest of the crap that was on your screen.

Sorry if these seem like retarded ways to do it, but once you get used to doing this shit, it works and it's pretty fast. I spent my entire life without photoshop up until recently so....
and beside, no one else was contributing anything to the thread! lol

Did exactly that, and it still says the file exceeds the site's limit...Kinda shitty. :/ Webmaster should really fix the photo portion of the site..

Oh shit another thing, if you're new to all this kind of stuff, if you save it as a JPG it will be a smaller file size and maybe within the allowable limits. If you save it as a BMP or something else it will be too big.

he's not telling you to post the link. You need the url to the hosting sight then hit the pic icon in the tool bar when you reply to the thread. It will ask you for the url, then it will post the pic.
