no it doesn't. its calories in calories out. http://www.liftbigeatbig.com/2011/10...-30-grams.html. thats a very old myth. you could get all your protein in one meal for the day if you wanted, thats what intermittent fasting is pretty much except its in a 4-5 hour window of eating. especially if you are training really hard too absorbing more than 20g at once would be super easy.

according to this article protein intake should be even more than 1 pound per bodyweight for intense training http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/maki1.htm. i can tell you since ive upped the protein shakes ive seen a noticeable difference. just stick to a good whey isolate.
