David, what kind of press is that? Are you silk-screening?

Its just a heat press i have been doing Vinyl decals for some time so now i stepped up to cutting heat transfer vinyl then heat pressing it on lot cheaper to get going can produce some really cool stuff just cant get the color depth you can with screen printing...eventually i will upgrade to a full color printing vinyl cutter then i will be able to do anything on to a shirt

Yea i have been dealing with it for years comes and goes lots of anxiety issues that push me to depression cause i shut down from over thinking and getting flustered. but yea man exercise helps a lot and honestly keeping myself around a good set of people helps tons. Negative enrgery just brings up more and vice versa i prefer to stick around positive people

So you cut that vinyl out by hand, then melt it in?

No I have a Vinyl cutter its essentially a printer but instead of printing it has a blade in it that cuts out a design. So 1st I have to design a vector image. Then load it to my cutting program then send it to cutter then cutter cuts it. Now the design is cut out i have to weed out the excess material to get the design out of it. Then take it over to my heat press lay it down and press it on then peel the backing. Repeat process for multiple layer decals/Images. The vinyl i use for heat press is of a different type than normal vehicle vinyl. Vehicle vinyl has an adhesive on it and you leave it on the backing and use a transfer tape to peel it off and out it on a window or whatever your substrate is. With heat press there is no adhesive on the backside something to do with the heat makes it stick. I'm sure theres some sort of science answer to it lol

Thank you man and honestly learned on my own. I started with PhotoShop on a crash course lol designed a poster for my friends Brett Sbardella. After that I was hooked went to college for a semester 3 months later for Graphic Design and Photography realized college was a huge waste of money as that most everything we learned was from Lynda.com Since then I taught myself how to use Illustrator and got the vinyl cutter from a friend that just had it sitting in a box. Its old as dinosaur shit but does the job. Been lots of hours of online videos and googling questions to figure out what I'm doing wrong lol. In the end its been a journey and still learning on the go but I really enjoy it and makes me not only happy but makes me money so win win.

Makes me laugh looking back at some of my early work poster on the left was my first ever all the guys are not portioned right or anything poster on right is my latest poster.
