What is the age requirement to get ranked?

HI yall. I just have a couple of quick questions. How old do you have to be to get ranked? And is it OK to put 10thplanet patches on GI? I hope I'm not out of line here, just want to make sure before we go through with it. We ordered 3 patches that we thought were small, but it turned out to be the 8x8 patches. So I'm thinking of putting them on Cora's Gi, but that might confuse people as 10thplanet is NO GI. Also about the ranking, I know its a long way to go, but I'm just wondering how old do you have to be to get ranked as we don't attend a 10thplanet school. It would be an honor in the future if Cora can be known as a 10thplanet Black belt... THank you Bruce

Put the patches on the gi, put them on your winter jacket, put them on your car and everywhere else you can think of.

I have 10th Planet patches on my gi. I don't train in it but I compete in the gi to get more matches in. I would talk it over with Cora's gi instructor to make sure he doesn't have a problem with the patches before putting them on. Some schools only want their logo on competitors.

16 years old to get a Blue Belt. You can put patches on anything you want, it is totaly fine to rep the 10th Planet patch on a Gi.

I love rocking my atama gi pants when working truck and lockdown stuff and they have the patch on them REP it up

16 for a Blue, but the Moons that have a kids program rank the kids too, atleast our gym does. Our gym puts a spin on it by not using a grey belt but instead using a Camo belt. But everything else is roughly the same, I believe. They earn stripes on their belts then graduate to the next- they are tested on the no gi jiu jitsu and well as the actual 10P system. The kids have promotions tonight in fact. I will take some pictures and post them for you Bruce.

As long as your gi instructor doesn't have an issue with wearing another teams patch, there shouldn't be a problem. Daniel Gracie thought it was funny. Seeing as to how Cora repping 10p pretty hard already, I can't imagine it would be an issue.

You can put a 10p patch on anything.

You have to be 16 to get a blue belt.

I don't have a kids program but many moons do.

Derek from Omaha, RW from Spokane, Michael from Sherman, Kim from Burbank all have great kids programs :-)

The 10th planet patch makes that Gi look awesome! The 10th Planet JJ logo is so cool it adds value to anything it's on!

Master Eddie, as long as we have your blessing that what's matter most. I'm sure her coaches won't mind at all either as they go to your seminars... I know this past Kids Pan Am she didn't get to display her 10thplanetJJ, but we are training hard now for next year. Can you imagine her fighting with 10thplanetJJ in Gi in Kids Pan Am, how in YOUR FACE will that be?? LOL
