    10th planet hotbox Afghanistan?

I have a question for whoever is running the hotbox locations or this one may have to be approved by master Eddie himself.
I have been a part of the 10th pjj team at poplar bluff Missouri since they pretty much started about 2 years ago..I unfortunately had to move about 6 hours away a few months ago for an upcoming deployment. I have been splitting what little time I get between the moon in poplar bluff and St Louis. Anyway to get to my question, I'm deploying to Afghanistan in a few days, I'll be a ft hood for pre mob stuff for a few months first then follow on 9 month-ish tour in Afghanistan... what I am wanting is to start a hotbox in Afghanistan while I'm there. I know the rules would not technically allow this because of having to visit a moon every month and I could be wrong but I think u need your blue belt (which myself and jamze are working on trying to get before I leave via video for Eddie). I think it would be a cool thing for the troops there that would be interested..and a way for myself to stay in the system more than watching videos for a year. Like I said I know the official hotbox rules don't fit for this but if there is anything I can do to make this work because I think it would be cool for the troops and 10th planet both! Hope to get some feedback and make this happen...thanks.

That would be me, neither are correct (training with your sponsor instuctor is a min of 1x/year not 1x/month, and white belts can run hotboxes). Here is the criteria thread:

Even if you don't meet the criteria, you can still run a training group regardless of whether you're an "offical" 10th Planet Hotbox or not.

I had this same idea when I was deployed till I read the criteria, one of the main idea of a hotbox is to work towards eventual affiliaton, not sure what your MOS is but if you are confined to the FOB and you reach FOBbit status (never leaving the wire) then you guys can set up a schedule for when you train, if you go out on patrol for a week or get sent to another FOB, you can't teach at that primary location I would just get a solid group of training partners, Combatives guys love the system and try to high jack one of the dojos a couple nights a week if possible. Deployments are rarely consistent and when you guys return I am sure you will all be monsters. Be safe out there, hopefully they stick you in Leatherneck, place is a cake walk.

Last thing anyone wants to hear on the new is 10th Planet: Kabul was blown to smithereens today by a suicide bomber dressed in a Gi.

I'm an Apache pilot so I should be on a bigger base with plenty of guys.... if nothing else I'll find some other combatives guys like you said and just get a ton of mat time in,and practice plenty of mastering the twister DVD stuff on them.

I just returned from Afghanistan last June and I was running a training group for the whole time we was over there. I was showing the guys a ton of 10th Planet stuff.
