This is 110% true, but I also want to say that it's not a lifestyle change that you should be scared of.
Start with simple stuff: No starch, no sugar. At all.
Just to make it clear that when I say none, I mean none:

This is in reference to leaky gut syndrome, which a lot of people have and don't even know it, because they are eating grains, legumes and dairy.
On the previous page, Robb links Type 1 diabetes to Celiac disease, to autoimmune disorders, to leaky gut syndrome. Here is more from page 94:

- Schizophrenia
- Autism
- Depression
- Huntingtons disease
- Non-Hodgkins's Lymphoma
- Hypothyroidism

All this because people eat grains, which cause the following, in summation:
Damage to the gut lining (Leading to leaky gut for us all)
Damage to the gall bladder and bile production
Phytates tightly bind to metal ions and make them unavailable for absorption (Bad for bones and general health)
Open the door to autoimmunity and cancer
I'm just dropping notes from the book. You should really just buy it and read it and do the 30 day challenge. (Not a challenge really)
My point is, it may sound or seem daunting to stop eating starch and sugar, but it's easier than you think. The only thing I will caution you on is that there is an addition to the foods you'll be dropping and you will experience withdrawl like a drug for a couple weeks.
