Blown ACL what can I do?

In February I was training for a fight, and in a transition hyperextended my knee. I figured I could take a few weeks off and come back just fine. Well when I came back my leg gave out almost as soon as I started working with it. I made the mistake of waiting to go to the doctor until last week. I had an MRI and the doctor told me it was a complete tear... He is sending me to another doctor to figure out my options. I just wanna get some information on what others have done as far as rehabilitation goes... Also I am interested in hearing other people's stories good or bad.

Amputate...In all seriousness that sucks! I have no experience with any big injuries so I have no advice. Sorry to hear that though.

A little athletic tape and you'll be fine.

I've had 4 surgeries on my right knee. It sucks, but it's not the worst thing that can happen to you.

    My advice is two-fold:

    1. Take the rehab seriously. If they tell you to do 20 reps, do 25.

    2. Don't come back too early. You're young and you have plenty of time to train. Don't get sidelined with another injury because you wanted to come back a month early.
