haha i came to post that i should watch this dvd because of coach chris. i'd probably have to learn how to defend against the north/south choke, the d'arce, and the myriad of other submissions coach smashes me with.

believe it or not its part of my 5 year plan. I hope to get out there in about 3 years but with finishing college and all its hard to set a definitive date. Before that my tentative plan is to moving to the portland or eugene areas so i can train at a moon. I'll be travelling up through Oregon and Washington this spring to scout out communities that my gf and i can relocate to and I plan to visit all the 10th planet moons and hotboxes that i can during the trip.

The turning the feet out on the hips drill is fantastic. We've been exploring it the past couple days and it really is surprising how you can turn your foot out when they attack standing up, as long as you keep turning it out that way there doesn't seem to e anything they can do. Really effective and seems to work in spite of our fear of turning the foot about when it's being lined up for an attack.

There are still attacks and sweeps you can do when you turn the toes outward. However it does neutralize a number of attacks.

Its important to understand there is no magic pill escape for leglocks. You have to learn the game to become proficient at defending them. We've all seen the ridicious "Rubber Guard Defense" videos. Who has better RG defense than the guys at HQ? Answer: No one.

Im fairly certain that the link was dead after selling out so its probably good. I know Alan is selling it through other links and promoting it on his twitter currently. He does respond to twitter and email.

Regardless there are still attacks from there as well, again there is no magic pill.

When they turn the foot outward you attack with a outward facing "clamp" See HQ warms "B".
