    Berimbolo To The Truck

Hey, I saw this Berimbolo sweep counter and I see the truck super available, so I did a search on google and here for those two terms first and saw one thread, but it was not referring to the same mechanism. I found this video and I was thinking that it looks like you could roll for the truck. Gonna play with it on the mats monday, but please let me know if I'm off base....I realize it's more of gi technique, but the truck is a 10thpjj thing...here is the video I saw: Thoughts?

It actually flows very well. I have been using this tech for a while now. It's all about numbers

Very technical indeed. I like it but I have to look at the handles a little closer, but very cool

Nice details nice technique, for no gi I see a knee bar staring us right in the face which seems better value than going to the back. As he goes "UP" at about 1.40

I'd like to ask Zog whether he would ignore the knee bar and head for the back, cus my gut says a high level leg lock guy would not pass up that attack.

Unless there's something I am missing of course which is totally likely..

I was talking to some higher belts (black and brown) and they both said if the guy doing the berimbolo has crappy technique this would work well but after watching the mendes bros instructional on the berimbolo, with proper technique and distance control it wouldn't work.

I agree with your friends 100%. But if he was loose, and he was, in nogi I see a side control happenin. Where he grabs his pants and punches down is crucial for that first hook. If you don't get it, you would be way lower nogi, it's whoever gets on top. I would go straight to it.

Ever since you said you make sure each limb has a job something completely clicked in my head and now in every position I make sure each limb is doing something. Simple concept, so Im not sure why I wasnt doing it before.
