Help a Professional Muay Thai fighter transitioning to mma

Hey guys Professional French Nak Muay ( Lumpinee and Rajanamdern vet) Adrien Rubis is going to fight his first mma pro fight in 3 weeks. He is really green on the ground. We've been working on his game on and off for like only like 3 months.

He knows the basics, and his defensive guard is getting really good. (His MT clinch translates really well to guard). Anyway long story short 3 weeks to get him ready to fight. We will be rolling and drilling everyday. Looking for ideas. Obviously he's not gonna be pulling anything crazy, but If you had 3 weeks to get a bad ass Thaiboxer ready for mma what would you drill and why?

Last week all we did everyday was Side mount escapes and getting back to the feet.

As a white belt not sure what I can say, but I'd prob work the same escapes/pin escapes, sub defense, takedown defense, get back to feet like u already mentioned....really only so much u can crash course in 3 wks...

Fortunately he is fighting a stand up guy with not much ground exp, but i'm assuming either way at some point the fight is going to the mat.

drill the basic defenses until it's burned in his mind. stack when getting armbarred, posture when getting triangled, always have two arms in or two arms out, chin tucked, elbows tight, etc... and then obviously at least one way to get to his feet from all positions, even dominant positions. better to strike on the feet if that's what he's good at, then to strike on the ground and get in trouble. things can go south very quickly on the ground if he's not confident, so he at least needs to be aware of how to abort at a moments notice.

Sweep and sub drills from half guard and full guard. For instance, Jose Aldo's ground game is so good (Nova Uniao black belt) that it allows him to fight like a nak muay with almost no fear of the takedown. Getting good (or at least adequate) off your back is really the only way to go unless he's willing to change his striking style and lower his stance.

For his first fight just looks at escapes n sweeps. Anythin that's gonna help him get back to his feet if it goes down. Play to his strengths then expand his game after the fight

ready full guard:hip bump attempt to guillotine, with the guilli grip stand up start raining what ever he wants. half guard: with the under hook grab a single come up to his feet and again rain what ever he wants( a good example is what gilbert smith was doing last night to bubba) Side control: simple ghost escape to his feet Bottom mount hip bump escape to hail mary heel hook, that should just make the guy try and kick out giving him a chance to get to his feet.
