Oh man that makes me home sick. I have been gone a few years now so I don't know off hand. If you have someone on the ground- on North Lamar almost directly across from the Yellow Rose there is a run down little plaza. Inside said plaza are some kick ass martial arts facilities. I took Aikido over there. Would be a great place to check in and ask. Super friendly folks.

I took Aikido there as well and learned some very cool shit that saved my ass in real life on two separate occasions. They know what they are doing.
I see some schools in El Paso and Dallas. If all that fails I'd call El Paso. Dallas might as well be Oklahoma- but if EVERYTHING else fails.... I probably still wouldn't call Dallas...

There's not a moon in Austin, tx, but there are practitioners all around you. I'm always in the Austin area for tournaments or just passing through maybe the next time I'm in the area we can get some rolling in or if your in my neighborhood you can come to our gym and get some mat time. We are only about 2 and a half hours away. Hopefully, if everything goes right we will be an official hotbox by the beginning of the month.
