Sorry...fixed the second vid. Yes yes yes cora. You are on the right track with how to use that kimura grip and I love that your not forcing it and transitioning to the next move in the progression.

One thing we stumbled on...if you go for the head scissor (starting at around 1:30) and the opponent turns away it usually leads to a very easy armbar. So starting at 1:30 where her opponent turns away from Cora, Off of the kimura grip, shoot your right arm(the arm that was grapping the wrist) though and grab your pants (same way you would put your arm for spider web.) With your left arm now free post it on the mat to help prop yourself up. Use the post to get your left leg free and put it directly under your opponents armpit (not across his belly but pinched with foot in his armpit.) Your right leg should still be over his face. Squeeze you knees, lean to the right and finish armbar. The head scissor is a 50/50 thing but its low risk from the top and often leads to many other submissions and cool transtitions.

BTW...I think Cora is fantastic. A very rare talent for her age. Her technique is off the charts and her IQ and ability to find submissions in transtion is downright impressive. Keep up the good work girl!!

I hope it doesn't end up in the Olympics. Too many styles are a shell of what they used to be

Kurzy: you have that Olympic dream also? Since they are taking away wrestling (which I also disagree with) maybe its not that far stretch of the imagination that maybe..just maybe Jiu Jitsu might have a chance at the Olympic. If that should one day come true, Cora is at the right age right now to start training for it. You see I have it all planned out. Let just say they put JJ in the Olympic, if Cora can't get on the US team. She surely will be in the Olympic representing our motherland. Cambodia will surely accept her to represent the country... See I have it all planned out...LOL

oh thats how she hurt her arm. Can't wear cups myself, one nut fills a shock doctor like a big scoop of vanilla ice cream in a japanese soup spoon, regular sized wang though.
