    The System is FREAKING AWESOME!

    Today, I was rolling (with MMA Gloves) with a teammate of mine, I have no real MMA Experience... and he is a beast walking around at about 210lbs... after the first 30 seconds, I now realize WHY THE SYSTEM IS SO BIG ON THE CLINCH... because getting punched fucking sucks

    Anyways, even though we were only going 50% speed (while hitting eachother at 20% tops), I now have a new appreciation for the Rubber Guard, Lockdown... as it saved my ass from getting hit.

    Any other Non-MMA Nibiru Warrior have this revelation yet? Has everyone and I'm the only jackass who just now realized this?

    Clinch = safety

    Clinch + the mastery of setting up submissions and sweeps while clinched up = 10p

    Great post Rick!

    Also training 10p= training mma. People don't realize that. Legitimate offensive combat positions. So many don't realize that.

    theres a guy in stockholm that trains with magnus and he plays an amazing open guard, and from him i learnt that ground game is soooo much more like stand up than people think. you want to play a distance game and then you want him really close unless youre throwing out your own attack, but generally you want them right out or right in.

    what im really excited about is how tpjj is bringing in open guard techniques aswell. tpjj used to be seen as a guard for super flexible people, then it was a clinch game now its becoming a very very cool, all around game.

    You're not gonna play to much open guard if he is a good puncher tho. That can go wrong real quick.

    with open guard like this guy had, it doesnt really matter if they can punch, magnus promised me a purple belt if i could pass his guard, we had a twenty minute roll, and i tried everything apart from throwing the kitchen sink at him, even jumping over him, the only time i got close was almost into half guard and before i knew it he flipped me into backmount and choked me out. im not the ebst by any means but even magnus who is completly legit was saying that he barely passes this guys guard, and this guy oskar, hes only about 65-70 kgs.

    the thing with his guard was constant movement and always balancing top and bottum and left and right. using legs and arms and keeping space.

    Disagree. You're describing jj drills, which I'm sure his guard is amazing. If a guy can punch he's gonna wanna protect in open and try to clench.

    Is he an mma fighter? Vids?

    1 hard punch= desire to clench

    Open guard=real easy to catch 1 hard punch
