You should have won your 1st match at 1:29 and your second match at 2:19 both via Americana. I don't know what the ref was doing when he stop the sub and let you continue.
Great movement on top. You have great athletic ability. Its clear your top game has developed first. Females are very difficult to submit with an Americana...especially without a weight/strength advantage. I would suggest, with your height, to be developing guard and attacking submissions using legs instead of with arms.

Exactly. Wtf was that? Either don't stop the sub, or stop the sub and the match is over..
Im shocked youre a white belt Rachael. I thought you were at least purple
Whatever! You are buttering me up to babysit your kids!
And thanks guys. I am still confused on what the ref was doing. I figured I missed something in the rules, so i didn't complain. I was up on enough points anyways.

I don't mind working from guard. If fact, most WOMEN have a hard time passing my guard as I have strong legs. BUT if i get top position, I will keep it.

It looked to me like he was basically preparing to jump in as soon as the tap came so there was no injury. Ive never seen a ref do that so Im not sure.

About 1 year and 5 months. I was out for a little bit during that time with a torn MCL
Thanks.
We'll see... I know I have things I need to work on. I show up to class and try to take as much in as I can. I am actually more nervous/scared to GET my blue belt than NOT to get my blue belt. I don't take it lightly.
