No academy in the land would say no to this. Plus you learn to work around your injuries or issues. If you go in there from day 1 and explain the situation all would be good.
You would actually understand what you are teaching Cora too. You can teach Cora technique from youtube etc all day but 99% of the time they don't 'troubleshoot' in those videos, work the path beyond the end tech (stuffing the technique at certain points). Even body shapes etc can change the way someone might use a technique.
I once went to an MMA academy in the UK where the instructor was teaching jiujitsu/no-gi but yet had never rolled a day in his life. Lets just say in his instruction he was missing out small but super important nuances to the technique. If he had rolled before and regularly he would have known that.
