what your doing is awesome bruce, i stepped into a open rolling a few days ago for the first time, and actually got 3 out of 5 taps on rolling, with a few people, that lasted about a good 45 mins, and i learned everything online, but going to an actual class does help, but if the funds aren't in your favor then ofcourse its always understandable, but if you are ever planning on creating a hotbox, in Houston i would love to help in a year when i move back.

also the stepping of the gas peddle is a good point to finish the gogo, i caught one of my opponents in it the exact way nick diaz got it on gomi it was a proud moment for me personally lol

Sam and Mike: Aside from my mal-formed shoulder joint, a couple more EXCUSES why I can't be training JJ is. Yes the funds. I just can't afford it right now. It cost me $167 for Cora's class, gas taking her to the gym runs me about $100 a month, and the tournaments if we do once a month is about $100 for Gi and No Gi. If we go out of town, then its the hotel cost, food, gas, to be conservative lets just say those are about $200. And to hire someone to take her picture is about $60 per tournament. So let just round it all up to $500 a month for Cora to do what she love. I can make money, but time is of more value. I just don't have the time. I'm so lucky to have a career that allows me to work from home while taking care of the Hurricane (my son). That alone is a full time job. I take care of him at home during the day, while his mom is at work. In between the feeding him, changing diapers, whinning and more whinning and crying, I try to contact my agents and clients and setting up appointments for that evening. Then at around 3pm I go pick up the Triangle Queen from school. We would get home around 3:30pm, I cook her something to eat, while she finish up her homework. By 4:30pm we hit the mat, drilling things that I want her to work on at the gym. By 5:30pm we get off the mat and start getting ready to go to the gym. By 6pm we are at the gym. At 7:30-8pm we are out of the gym and would be home by 8:30pm if we don't go out to eat or make any detours. When we get home, I look over her homework while my wife cook. Sometimes I part from the routine to go take care of my client. But if I don't have any appointment for that evening, this is usually what we do. After dinner, we chill out watching her practice video to see what she needs to work on or watch some MTS. Cora and Kato usually hit the bed by 10pm. If I have appointment for the evening, I usually don't get home until around 11pm, especially when I have my meetings on Tuesday night. So with that, what time do I have for myself to train? This is why most family guys get old and fat brother. Its not that we don't want to train, its about putting other things first. THat is why I always preach to young kids to go out and do whatever it is you want to do in your sport before you settle down and have a family.

    Weak excuse Bruce :P
Cora doesn't need a photographer for every tourney. I am sure she wouldn't mind you cut back on that so YOU can train once per week with the adults bro. It will benefit her and her grappling career as much as it does you and your teaching/drilling with her. Especially in instances like I explained in an earlier post.

LOL Sam, I know brother I know. But that is all that I have. But there might be hope for me. I've been talking to a few of my buddies that I play ball with. They are in their 20's and some have shown interest in Jiu Jitsu. Maybe rolling with them might help, we might do it like a hot box kind of thing.

    Thats the spirit bro! haha
In time you may feel you want to join in with the adults at Team Tooke once you are feeling more comfortable rolling with adults. You will definitely adapt and work around your shoulder in time.
