I don't know if a mouthguard would have stopped it actually, but I won't roll without one again.

I don't allow anyone to roll without one. Its not teeth and lips im worried about its the concussions.

Rule in our dojo is no mouthguard no rolling. The instructor is super strict about it no exceptions.
