Woolwich UK, murder of soldier (beheading?)

So guys, I am sure many of you have heard about this. Soldier wearing a 'help for heroes' t-shirt walking alone in Woolwich, London was targeted, run over in a car, dragged into the road and chopped up like a lump of meat by 2 English guys. Apparently muslim and they were talking loads of political stuff whilst 'in the act'.

I seen your fb post and the "news" and immediately thought sounds to me like a blame game. I'm not quite convinced it had anything to do with a Muslims.

I'm confused. Why did this happen in the uk? In broad daylight? I would think they would want to avoid getting caught. Why go to jail for such a minor target? I can't make sense of it.

Wonder if its some kinda ploy to get folks going after muslim's. I honestly don't personally know anyone that is muslim. I have no legit insight about the difference in what the extremist preach vs what the "regular" ones do. I say regular because I don't know what they call themselves.

Apparently they are British born (which you can clearly tell from the accent) and of Nigerian descent, but converted to an extreme form of Islam.

Ok, but even in Iraq and Afgh dudes aren't exactly hanging around in the streets celebrating their murder and talking to cameras. Something just seems off about the whole situation.

I think they were maybe hoping for a suicide/martyr by police type situation, hence the gun, and actually attacking the police officers. Plus they were going for full on shock value.
Its a crazy situation whatever happened. Will update this thread with and developments.

Sam I mean no disrespect especially because I know this is close to home for you, but I have reservations believing ANYTHING I hear from mainstream media these days.
These days I think there are more stories made up just to scare people into the arms of big government. Especially when they attach the word "Muslim" or "Terror" to it, I almost immediately have my bullshit detectors working on overdrive.
