Got my blue belt today!

Man words can't express how exstatic I am to be awarded my blue belt today!
I feel unbelievably blessed to have recieved it at the Master Eddie Bravo seminar at my Instructors Frank Barca's dojo 10th Planet JJ Melbourne.
When I found Jiu-Jitsu In was a 5'8" 110kg fatty, no direction quitter, no cardio, no athleticism.
After searching through taditional Jiu-Jitsu techniques and videos I found my instructor in an issue of MMA Australia magazine showing the spider web transition and I knew the 10th Planet sytem was for me.
Fast forward to 3 1/2 years later and I have medalled in comp, started my own school, coached at Australias premier MMA event the AFC, and lost almost 40kg in the process.
Could not have done it without my training partners and of course my Instructor Frank Barca.
Frank is the guy that not only has so much jiu jitsu knowledge, but also can motivate you to be the best you can possibly be and make you want to be the best you can be.
It's something I try to instill in my students as he has in instilled in me.

So thank you Boss.

I've accomplished a lot as a white belt and now as a blue belt I'm looking forward to doing so much more and doing my bit to spread the 10th Planet revolution in my region.

great story in away im trying to follow your path, i use to weigh 220 2 years ago, and i found jiu jitsu and learned about health, hit 135, now im 150 and healthy. Now im trying to follow the path of jiu jitsu, because its absolute fun, and enjoyment.
