We all were. If you watch you can see the ref move in because even she thought it was over. Jessicas subs are good but her sub defense is exceptional for someone at her level. Going in the idea was to not fight the takedown because of the other girl's size/strength advantange and just work sweeps for the finish. The other girl was like 5'3" and walks around at about 165. That center of gravity is basically on the floor. Jess is looking to fight again on August 24, so we're going to watch this like crazy and try to get everything a little tighter before then. Her spiderweb transitions and maintenance are still pretty weak, but if you watch the first round you can see her think about the arm triangle after she gets the first sweep. Originally Posted by CurtisHembroff
