silly question but is there any reason like tightness wise the inverted wouldnt work from mount?meaning skip the whole fly over and just take it from mount. I get alot of guys that when i get mount keep there neck open and I always attack for spiderweb but think this would be a nice step to add in to either get arms free to got to web or just a finish with it.
I think that the problem would be with collecting the head from mount. Mounted guillotines need to be extremely tight. I hit Marcellotines from the mount regularly but I prefer to wrap the head up from side control, then mount. You can also use a failed arm-in guillotine to sweep your opponent and adjust to the Marcellotine mid-sweep and finish that from the mount. Usually I try a one-arm guillotine first and if there's a problem, I transition to the Marcellotine.
