Flying Marcelotine, inverted marcelotine, marcelotine from bottom side

I found that the details in the inverted marcelo video really helped my game because it made me better ar chasing the marcelotine once I have the initial grip

silly question but is there any reason like tightness wise the inverted wouldnt work from mount?meaning skip the whole fly over and just take it from mount. I get alot of guys that when i get mount keep there neck open and I always attack for spiderweb but think this would be a nice step to add in to either get arms free to got to web or just a finish with it.

I think that the problem would be with collecting the head from mount. Mounted guillotines need to be extremely tight. I hit Marcellotines from the mount regularly but I prefer to wrap the head up from side control, then mount. You can also use a failed arm-in guillotine to sweep your opponent and adjust to the Marcellotine mid-sweep and finish that from the mount. Usually I try a one-arm guillotine first and if there's a problem, I transition to the Marcellotine.
