Ron Smith - 180-189lbs. 3rd Place (No-Gi) Beginner - Showed he's getting very comfortable off his back for a stand up guy
Joe Pawloski - 190-199lbs. 2nd Place (No-Gi) Beginner - Grappled a sandbagger in the finals lol, guy competed at intermediate and took a Silver last event. Yet dropped down to beg. this time. Joe showed a lot of heart.
Ciara Smith - 130-149lbs. 2nd Place (No-Gi) Teen - Winning her first EVER match 8-0; only lost the finals 2-0
Brendan Ertman - 0-139lbs. 1st Place (No-Gi) Beginner - Putting on a great guard display, and triangle choking mothafucka's
Justin Norbury - 130-149lbs. 1st Place (No-Gi) Teen - Wins his 1st ever tournament, by a takedown in OT and the finals by Arm bar.
Norbert Seleski - 160-169lbs. 3rd Place (No-Gi) Intermediate - No True Second, but ran through the system positions like a champ.
David Hamp - 225+ 2nd Place(No-Gi) Intermediate - BEAUTIFUL takedown and quick passing to side control. Dave has improved a TON!
Pat Ritchie - 190-199lbs. 1st Place (No-Gi) Intermediate - Dominate performance, Americana and mounted Triangle Victories.
Mike Cruz - 140-149lbs. 3rd Place (No-Gi) Intermediate - Lost early on (2-0) to a 7-0 Professional Fighter.
Brett Sbardella - 180-189lbs. 3rd Place (Gi Purple Belt); 1st Place (No-Gi) Advanced - Defeated a Purple belt in the consolation finals of Gi 19-0; Head and Arm Choke 1st Rd. and a Deep Armbar in the finals of No-Gi!
