i agree completly. i know one guy i train with who is a massive dude. and he has awesome defense for things, not ussing strength but just because he knows how to stop making holes for us little guys to use. because youre bigger, you should hav better reach and can do things like have better control in dog fight maybe. (was just off the top of my head) as well as your top game naturally has more pressure.

size isnt a advantage or disadvantage its just another dimension in the game. for me i was/am still too small and so ive worked on bulking up, putting on weight. i dont mean this in any abd way, i dont know you, but if your weight is a factor that you think is holding you back then, to a degree, you can change it too.

or you could think that black belts are pretty awesome at everything so eventually you will probably work on everything on your jiu jitsu journey, and therefore it doesnt matter what you train as long as you train it.

i agree with what you put my size is actually a help and a disadvantage at same time as im stronger than the other guys i train with but in turn my weight slows me down where as they are quick guys

and i am trying to lose weight as well which in turn will help me be quicker etc and not gas so quick
