Hi guys! I was just after some opinions regarding body triangles. I like throwing them on in rolling if I manage to get to the back however I'm always a bit wary about the straight ankle lock counter that your partner can do if they can manage to fall to the side that your feet are on. I try to keep hooks in when I'm on my back and then switch it up to a body triangle when I fall to my choking arm side, however I'm having a lot of trouble stopping my partners from rolling back over to the side that my feet are on.
I've been trying to find videos about a way to prevent the partner from changing side (ie if they're lying on their right side then switching over to the left side, forcing you to either switch the body triangle or let it go) but haven't really found anything. All the videos out there talk about escaping and countering body triangles, rather than maintaining them.
If anyone has tips about either stopping the partner from being able to get onto their other side or even if you think that body triangles are a waste of time and ineffective I'd love to hear!
Hope my question is clear enough, first question posted on this forum.
Thanks!
