favourite basic pathways??? not just rg

    Yo,

I was wondering what everyones favorite pathways are are, like the stuff where you hit a sweep or transition and your arms are already falling into the right place for a high % finish

one that I really like is when I'm hitting the J.J sweep I try and get my overhook reaching past the head and take side instead of mount and dive on the jap neck tie

well my favourite game is rg and im not sureif this counts but its from half guard>electric chair sweep>mount>skydive control>monocontrol> then either gogo mono or omaplata. and then if i ahve to go to omaplata and even that fails then omaplata sweep and back into mount and try again

Double under pass >destroy the near arm >Americana/kimura.

Double under >twister side >top toe mount >s mount > whichever finish presents itself

Double under > fishnet > truck > whatever finish presents itself

Buttocks compressor > inverted knee bar

Mount > the McCaghren monoplata entry > take whatever finish presents itself

    1) Twister Side - Mount - Head & Armpit Control + Arm Triangle or S Mount Armbar

    2) Pass - Side Control - Far Arm Underhook - North South Kimura - If Defends thn to Arm Bar

    3) Back Take From Side Control - Saw it in a Mendes Bros Video, Works well after some drilling. After Back Take RNC by Trapping on Arm or Switch to Armbar if Nothing Works.

I use your 2nd path all the time but I do it from can crush or twister side if they try and feed the arm across my body. I attack that so often people defend it by trying really hard to stop my transition to n/s which usually exposes them for can crush to d'arce/jap/rat chokes

Probably not. You'll have to ask Brandon McCaghren for the set up sir. One of my faves is Mount to T-lock/Kimura grip to spiderweb to failed arm rush to arm bar or triangle.
