A 16kg is generally a good place to start for most guys to get a decent workout while not hurting themselves learning proper form and technique.
You just need one kb to learn technique but once you have that down, a guy your size would probably want to step it up and mix in two KB routines as well. I cannot stress enough the importance of learning proper form before you start working out hard with these. The lower back in particular will take a beating.
Get a proper warm up before hand and never sacrifice technique for more reps.
