When rolling with a Tatu BJJ Black Belt the other night who frequently competes in IBJJF tournaments. 3x this year that I know of. I asked him about Electric Chair Submissions, Banana Split Submissions, Crotch Rippers, Bone to Bone Texas Clover Leafs, and Hip Locks.

He told me they all are illegal.
I'm not saying he is right, but of everyone I have trained with, he is the most trusted when it comes to IBJJF Rules.
I'd love to know what's legal and what isn't.

Any stretching of the legs for a submission is in fact legal.

I know a girl who wanted to compete and couldn't register last night. I learned from past IBJJF events that if you want to do it you have to register early because they sometimes close before they say they are going to.

Good luck to everyone who registered!
