Phoenix went in with 16 competitors and left with 3 belts and 12 medals. John Botello and Brad Hallin took home belts as well as Edgar Ugarte, a blue belt in his first large tournament. Hopefully videos will be up in the next few days.

Hopefully this link will work. Great showing by all of the 10th Planet crew. Steeyle & I were entering first NAGA since knee injuries kept us out for a while.

I was happy to get into half guard quickly without giving up points (my wrestling needs work). I wanted the arm triangle, but the guy grabbed guard as I attempted to fly over. He said he was looking for a triangle with the wrist control, but once my knee sliced through the heel hook was right there...

It was a great showing by everyone 10th Planet. I was proud of everyone that got out there and put it on the line. It's always great seeing Yuma in the house. Liam just keeps getting bigger and better every time I see him. We should be in the running for team No-gi champions. I'll keep an eye out for results in the next few weeks
