I think the costs far outweigh the returns with Metamoris though. The production costs, competitors fees, all that bullshit they send out like those fucking 'invitational belts' etc LOL. Fucking sending them to guys like Ariel Helwani LOL FFS Ariel doesn't give the slightest shit about Metamoris or jiu jitsu. Just stop wasting money on unnecessary shit.

The sad thing is, the Eddie Royler match would have warranted all that stuff. Not saying Aoki vs Gracie wasn't a match to get excited about but it wasn't some historic 10 years in the making much anticipated super fight. No matter how much Ralek tried to push it as '60 years in the making' fans didn't even consider that as a match until Metamoris had announced it. Bravo vs Gracie 2 would blow it out of the water. That is the match EVERYBODY wants to see. We can see high level mma guys go against high level grapplers like the Aoki vs Gracie match at adcc or whatever.

I just don't see jiu jitsu ever becoming a spectator sport, hence why competitors will always have to pay quite a bit of money to compete. But there is that 1 match that would sell big numbers. Bravo vs Gracie 2.

Doesn't it have an "art" or "entertainment" section? Put Dona from hq on this shit she is the organizer. There has to be somebody out there in the right place with the right connections who can make this happen. Rose maybe? She for sure knows how to organize a grappling event and she is connected to both of them.

Slow down guys. Bravo VS Gracie is huge. This may have been postponed but I would not suspect it is a Money issue. A fight like that would have a lot of subscribers lining up. More than Metamoris I or II.

You're right its all rumors and speculation but its still very plausible if the investors aren't jiu jitsu guys and the last two events didn't get them in the black and they seen how shitty the Schaub fight was... The point is if Metamoris can't get there shit together the money is there all it would take is somebody in the right place willing to make it happen.

My instructor is from Warrior Way and I heard that this match would fall through a month or so ago, but Eddie was hyping it up so I never looked into it :P

My instructor said he asked his instructors, who used to live and train in Brazil with the Gracies, about this match and they said
"Yeah.. It's not going to happen." They didn't give him any detail other than that and they are usually on top of things with the gracies since they have a direct lineage. I wish we could know why this match could be put on postponement or cancelled period
