10th Planet Detroit hiatus

I'm very sad to say it but the Detroit moon will be taking a break.

I'm returning to graduate school next week, and on top of that I need to undergo surgery. Nothing life threatening but I still need to wait 2-3 months before resuming physical activity. So I have decided to take a couple of months off and then set up a new location this fall much closer to where I live. The drive out to my current location got to be too much of a hassle, so hopefully I will be able to dedicate more time to my students at a new location since I won't have to drive an hour each way.

There are a handful of guys that I have been working with for MMA and bjj competitions, and I'm going to continue working with them throughout my recovery to whatever extent I am capable of.

Thank you to all of my students who have given me nothing but love and respect throughout my time teaching at Martial Arts Unlimited, and to the owners of MAU thank you for granting me the privilege of teaching at your school.

Expect to see some big things when 10th Planet Detroit comes back!
