David, she still have that fever. We tried knocking it down early that morning and by her doing all those flips and tumbles to get warm up, by the time she get to fight around 11am, it was back. She said her fingers and teeth were tingling and her grip was weak. She woke up this morning with that mild fever,headaches, fluffy face, and sore throat.... She's trying to get better because she has a singing audition at the mall at 2pm.

Barncat has some great passing knowledge and skills. I know he would be able to help Cora's passing a ton! You guys are like an hour or so away, it would be worth the drive for the free Barncat private lesson and or some 10p Beaumont class time. I know your schedule is tight, but this timing window of a month or so off competition is the opportunity to make the trip once or twice. I know Eddie would agree that a few trips to train with Brian could do wonders for her game...

For sure we will be there for the opening in OCT. And while at this recent tourney, I've spoken to a coach that wants to bring Kids in Kimonos to there, but it will be Kids in NO kimonos... The plan is in the work I guess. For sure we will make our way there somehow some way..

Passing help. For all the instructors out there, please advise. What can I do to help her with her passing guard game? Some of your most effective passing. Videos will help greatly. Here is what we been drilling. Marcelo's passing (M1 series), Mendes bro (leg drags), Master Eddie's half guard/z guard passing series (no hand pass, dominator, twister, buttock compressor). Any other recommendation is highly appreciated. Thank you.

What does her coach teach her for passing? I would ask her coach to help her with knee on belly. She looks like she was doing M1, but wanting to go chest down to soon instead of driving that knee in and riding and attacking from KOB. If you watch rolling vids on Marcelo rolling, he is in no hurry to go to side control after the M1. He stays postured and really drives that knee in. my 2 cents!

Cora looked like a ferocious beast in her first match, she looked very sharp. I am very impressed with her progression, she is getting stronger and her rubber guard is looking super tight

Thank you Master Eddie. Yes her rubber guard is coming along nicely. We just need to get her top game to match up with her rubber guard then I can breath a little.. right now her passing is not where we want to be yet, but we keep on drilling, a long with her lockdown game. We have another tournament coming up this weekend (paid for by FutureFighterz) that we weren't expecting to participate, but since they want to pay for her, we can't refuse... So now we really need to polish up a few things. Hope to give 10thplanet more exciting performance... Bruce

I think somehow Cora is not picking up the lockdown system as fast as she is picking up the rubber guard system. So I'm going to change it up a little. She been doing great with the flying kung fu, meat hook, and carni. So we going to focus more on that for this next tournament and really polishing it up. Along with her guard break and passing.

Knee slice is a very high percentage pass for me. When I get the pass 95% of the time its a knee slice
