    3rd Place Today

    Today, I competed at the Dream Tournament and got 3rd, below are my wins... I went 2-1 for the day.

    Also, keep in mind... I was sick 2 days prior... so give me some leniency on a "not so impressive" performance

    Good match! Work your de la riva guard. It looked like you could have gone for some sweeps there!

    Also, it would have been really cool to see a samuri roll after that first sweep into 3/4 mount. It was open! Try and work on passing right away after the sweep. Constant pressure.

    Overall nice job!

    Man, that darce was close! I think you could have finished that one, especially if right after the sweep you would have bridged into him hardcore. Doing that allows you to get back on to your knees and then break him down (all with out letting go of the choke).

    Overall, i'd say work your aggression when you are in a dominant position. When you had him mounted (nice sweep, btw!) he turned to shrimp and was in trouble of getting put into spider web via S mount. Those transitions should be automatic!

    Thanks for some great input Mario, I agree that I should have been way more aggressive once I had the top position, I wasn't feeling so great that day
