In my defense, it should be noted that at the beginning of the video I was all the way on the opposite side of the mats where a bunch of Marcelo's guys were, but when I saw Ryan and recognized him as the 10th Planet Planet dude I had spoken to earlier, I walked waaaaaay to the other side of the mat just to shoot his match.

I think you are all judging his opponent a little harshly. Of course he kept passing, because Ryan kept regaining his guard. I am sure if Ryan wouldn't have been so tenacious with his reguarding his opponent would've also gone for subs. As it was, he never got a chance to because he was being constantly getting stuck in guard.

Good job repping 10p, you never quit, you went after him the whole time.

In the beginning you had a clear path to jiu claw but you didn't block his body, that must be in your DNA.

And the first time you had his arm in the guard, when you had your leg over his head, you shouldve focused on your deep hook, leg curls and a toss. That was your path to spider web, it couldve been all you needed for the win there.

Regardless I am very proud of you and honored to have a fearless brown belt putting his ass on the line like you did
