What is the average time for promotion from belt to belt?

I'm a Gracie Barra purple belt and we have a minimum 2yrs between blue and purple and 2yrs between purple and brown alongside a stripe system of 70 clases per stripe and 4 stripes to be eligible for the belt test.

No average, I've been a brown belt for 5 years, almost exactly one stripe on my brown per year. I spent more time brown than all of my other belts combined. It hasn't been from a lack of effort either.... Just the way shit goes in jits.

It took me 4 years from white to blue, about 4 years at blue. My training is no longer as regular as it was when I was a white belt though.
