    Jessamyn will be back in the Octagon for sure. She's a tough fighter and still shows the capacity for growth. Plus she's just a likeable person. That's good for business.

    I was also hoping she grappled. I think she had a distinct edge there and could've gotten a sub bonus.

    I think a couple of well timed leg kicks would've changed the dynamic of this fight big time. Her jab was used effectively to create that reach you knew she had, but I think some powerful, Barbosa-like leg kicks could have: A) Hindered Penington's footwork so she couldn't manuever inside the reach and B) Further cement the reach advantage by striking where she can't counter from. Great clinch work; if one of those knees had connected flush it would've been night, night. It was a helluva fight, definitely a testament to women's MMA, even in defeat Jess has acquired alot of fans which will equate into more opportunites for her in the future. Great war! osssss
