    Wearing 10p during tournaments

What is the feeling of someone wearing 10p clothing during a tournament if they don't train at a 10p school? My son and I watch mts and train a lot of 10p techniques, but there isn't a school near us to train at. We love the system and want to represent, but we don't want to do it if that is frowned upon.

I see the blue name, which means you’re a Pro member (and studying the same way as allot of other folks). You don’t need special permission to rep 10th Planet as a “Ronan” (practitioner without a school).

Don’t worry, its looked at positively not negatively, thanks for your interest and support

Welcome to the club brother. You and your son are like my daughter and I (RONIN). I think the best way to represent 10th isn't necessary in the clothing, but in the love of the system and when you use the system in your training and competition. Anyone can buy a t shirt that says 10thplanet, but its better to throw someone in your rubber guard, then people will know you are truly repping 10th..IMO

THanks buddy. It always make me happy to hear success story such as you and your son. It just goes to prove that the system works for everyone, even those that don't have the luxury of being close to a 10thplanet gym. If ronin like us can make it work, then the system is truly strong. Keep up the work and looking forward to seeing your vids.

Ask Bobby Rivers and Nathan Orchard that question.

its cool bro. Only becomes an issue if you train at a different/non 10p academy. You don't want to be 'that guy' that trains 100% of the time at a non 10p school (checkmat, gracie barra etc) but reps 10p t-shirts every day in class and at the comps (even gi comps), giving no recognition to your regular team ever. That is when dudes end up with their whole team against them making things awkward.

Its called being a Ronin isn't it? Also if you are going to make a video to Rank up you need that gear and a gang sign with your wins.

Has anyone submitted a video yet?

Great advice! Wear both if you can: your school and 10th planet. If you dont have a school then Rock it as a ronin!
