This is pretty cool. You don't often see accomplished high level jiu-jitsu black belts competing in wrestling once they get to a certain point. I believe he went 3 and 1 for the tournament and competing in wrestling should help his MMA game.

he did not. I think that was his first tournament. Right now he's probably getting most of his training up at Tri-Star with GSP, Rory Macdonald and those guys. That's where he fighting out of

He is always improving his wrestling up at Tristar. In the background you will notice Aiemann Zahabi and James Mancini on the sidelines. Both are his training partners. Aiemann competed as well. Both guys won over the crowd by coming in as fighters and performing like wrestlers. For them its just fun to do random tournaments. Aiemann did a karate tournament a couple months back and the same thing happened. I wish I went with them, I could have got some cool pics of the wrestling tournament.
