Not all of Texas is rural. Not all of New Hampshire is rural. Not all of New York State is rural.

Yes, guns are more accessible in the US. So more criminals have guns. I don't see how the solution would be to disarm citizens. If we ban guns, criminals just have life easier.

It seems in one way you are right. Criminals will have an easier life in that they are less afraid of being shot and don’t have to carry/ can’t get guns themselves. Fewer innocent people will be the victims of gun related crimes. Decades of studies from many countries make this an undeniable point.

Cops don't protect. They respond. They show up to victims homes after they're victims.

That's not good. Would I prefer guns didn't exist? Sure. Then we could knife each other and have that banned. Then we'll use stones and clubs. Then those will be banned. Then we'll stomp each other, then legs will be banned. Lol.

You’re smarter than this. Classic flawed logic, slippery slope. We have seen school attacks with guns and knives, no one died from the knife incident. How many people/how fast can you kill with knife vs a gun?

The problem is not guns. The problem is lack of respect for anything anymore. There is a clear lack of respect for anyone’s beliefs, possessions and just life in general. The majority of people can’t disagree with someone anymore without demonizing the other side. People used to be able to discuss items and then leave still disagreeing, but respecting each other.
