when i wsa in germany, we worked on a ninja choke from the 100% grip. its probly the tightest choke ive ever had. im not a big enough player of 100% to use it though. theres a lot of options from there though
man you need to put that technique on video bro... I taught Cora the ninja choke from the rubber guard.
Ease up on the elbow clinch after finishing the sweep so you don't crank the neck upon landing in mount. That does not mean you have to let go of the head entirely. The arm that has the head trapped can creep into the inverted armbar and if that does not work, take that Americana.
Search the forums for Erwann Marshall's 100% Thread, or there are some videos of him teaching the technique on Youtube that offer a lot of good tips.

Thanks Scott, I've view all the videos and have same them to my collection... those are awesome...
100% is a sweep first and a crank second. You can also use it to setup a variety of other submissions. If neck cranking is illegal at your level in a tournament use it to control and sweep, then let go of the hold once mount (or whatever dominant position) is achieved. I wouldn't recommend kids to use that move, since they probably won't realize how much pressure they are applying - a little goes a long way.

^ Listen to everything this man says about the 100%. He's the original 10th Planet master of the move.

I seriously love the respect, thank you Isaac.
i dont think i could be any other way. i mean im looking forward to getting to brown cos one of my favourite things to do is make up weird new moves and play around with shit but in saying that, putting up a video is a way of representing 10th planet and if its not legit then its harming everyone associated with tpjj. the other massive point is that its an honour and a point of respect to browns and blacks that they can make videos, coming in as a white belt and acting like a brown is the last thing id want to do.
Everything I've heard about the 100% used in tournaments are that as long as you don't make a hand to hand connection, they won't consider it a neck crank. I'll caveat that with the warning that not everyone (refs/coaches) will ever share the same opinion, so just be careful on how you execute it and how long you hold it.
