Askren in a Pride rule set with elbows. Might spell trouble for him those soccer kicks add up quick. Then again who does One FC really have for him at 170? Phil Baroni? Anyone know if Askren could make 155? I feel he would find more challenge at 155 in One FC

Askren vs Baroni is a joke. Ridiculous fight. I can't believe they would even consider making that fight.
Askren should have gone to WSOF. The Fitch fight was intriguing to some.
Thing that makes me LOL is Askren says 'I am not going to WSOF because their champ couldn't win the Bellator tournament' abnd there is no challenge, yet he signs with One FC. Doesn't make any sense.

My theory is that Ben wants to get into the UFC. They didn't come knocking when he ended his Bellator contract so he realizes he needs to do more than just have a win streak, he needs a highlight reel. Easier to make a highlight real before in ONE FC than WSOF I believe. I still expect that Askren will make it to the UFC. His path will just be a bit longer.

I hate Ben askren. He just leg humps everyone for 5 rounds. Except he's really good at it, and he'd probably make it far and those are just 25 minute fights, that i'm not trying to see. I hope he fights palhares and and gets Heelhooked. I'd Like him more, if he would go for the finish instead of just pillow handing people from mount.

I don't understand how people don't find him exciting. He takes people down, beats them up until they just quit. To me that's awesome. Askren riding the shit out of people on top is real...the bottom guy wants to get out but he can't. 2015 Askren will be the UFC champ!
