Pretty bummed Cerone beat Dunham. Dunham is originally from Eugene OR so I also root for him. Sucks to see him go out like that. On the other side Cerrone looked really good.
Brent, it cut off before probably bc they're doing some commercials before the rounds are even over. We just missed the last 30 seconds ish of a round!!
Weird!

Damn great fights tonight! Georges got abducted by aliens during his fight. lol. But in all seriousness he fought great but johnny won that. You can argue for gsp that you need to really take it from the champion and that hendrix didn't have multiple 10-8 rounds to solidify "taking it". But if you didn't know anything at all about either fighter and just judged two dudes objectively in a mma match, you would say hendrix won. I hope this motivates gsp to train even harder and come back even stronger. I also think after watching some things that happened tonight that its time to rethink the rules on when its ok to just break up fighters. Right now theres too many breaks that are done purely for entertainment purposes to speed up the action for the crowd. The rules should be geared towards proving whos the better competitor.
Hendricks did more damage aesthetically, but in terms of scoring, GSP took the 2,3, and 5 rounds. It was extremely competitive, but I gave the nod to GSP. I'm glad he's retiring on top though. He's lost a step over the last 2 years.
